This short video offers a glimpse into the opening weekend of SYNC 2.0, Founders at the University of Cambridge’s co-founder matching accelerator programme. Through reflections from participants, investors and mentors, it captures the energy, curiosity and early conversations that shape the programme’s first days.
Featuring cohort members Natasha Murphy and Elizabeth (Lib) Matthews, alongside insights from Programme Manager Connor Farrell, former Managing Director Gerard Grech, Camilla Dolan and Kristian Segerstrale, the video explores why Cambridge’s combination of talent, research excellence and track record in scientific breakthroughs creates such a powerful environment for new ventures to emerge.
At its core, SYNC is about bringing together people who want to build something meaningful, even before they know exactly what that might become. From first introductions and shared ambitions to unexpected connections and new collaborations, the programme creates space for ideas to be challenged, developed and shaped alongside others on a similar journey.
