King’s College is working in collaboration with the University on a new cross collegiate innovation for early-stage University spinouts – planned for September 2025.
Cambridge Enterprise is the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge and is part of Europe’s most successful research and technology cluster. Their mission is to help University of Cambridge innovators, experts and entrepreneurs make their ideas and concepts more commercially successful for the benefit of society, the UK economy and the University.
Founders at the University of Cambridge have a mission to empower entrepreneurial minds with expertise, capital and community so they can thrive and have a global impact.
The King’s Entrepreneurship Lab is the college pioneer in entrepreneurship and innovation education, learning and research. Their purpose is to equip students from all backgrounds with vital entrepreneurial skills, and to empower aspiring innovators and business leaders.
This new initiative will be key to the strategic development of each organisation: accelerating the progress of early-stage University founders as they start new companies, addressing the issues facing the world today. It will bring together future founders with global King’s and University alumni, local experts and peer role-models, alongside funding and deep tech spin-our expertise, to support the founders’ training and development. The programme will focus on creating commercially viable companies that bring research-based innovation to bear in solving the problems facing both the UK and the wider world, ensuring that they deliver measurable economic impact.
We are looking for a talented and motivated Programme Associate to help shape the planning and operational delivery of this new innovative initiative for early-stage University spinouts.
